This paper introduces the concept of “dynamics” of the informal status hierarchy of the board of directors, and based on the social identity theory and the expected state theory, takes the A-share listed companies in Shanghai and Shenzhen from 2008 to 2022 as samples, and investigates the impact of the antecedent variable of the stability of the board of directors on the informal status hierarchy and its influence on the performance mechanism from the perspective of dynamics, and finds an inverted U-shaped relationship between the dynamics of the informal status hierarchy and the performance of companies. mechanism, and finds that the inverted U-shaped relationship between the dynamics of informal status hierarchy and firm performance is more significant when the board size is larger, the firm's growth is poorer, or the informal status hierarchy changes in a clearer direction.

This study divides digital transformation of manufacturing enterprises into two dimensions (level of digital technology and scope of digital application), and relies on the dynamic capability theory to establish a mechanism model that reveals how digital transformation affects the innovation performance of manufacturing enterprises, collects data through questionnaire survey method, and empirically examines and analyzes the data by using regression analysis and Bootstrap sampling method, which complements organizational agility as the perspective, exploring the empirical research on the relationship between digital transformation and innovation performance of manufacturing companies.
