Weihai Campus of BJTU organized an online expert review meeting for 2025 informatization projects

In order to standardize the construction and process management of campus informatization projects and improve the effectiveness of project construction, on December 24, Weihai Campus of BJTU organized an online expert review meeting for 2025 informatization projects, invited experts to review the projects one by one, and approved the project after questioning and discussion.

The meeting invited multiple experts, including Wang Fang from Beijing JiaoTong University, Sun Yajuan from North China Electric Power University, Chen Lizhang from Harbin Institute of Technology(Weihai Campus), Tian Xiaoping from Beijing Normal University and Wang Xiaoli from Shandong University(Weihai campus). This panel consisted of informatization experts from 5 various renowned university from China, with Wang Fang served as group leader and presided the meeting.
During the meeting, Wang Yujie, Director of the IT Center at BJTU Weihai Campus, provided an overview of the campus and its current status of informatization development. He presented a detailed report on the projects under review, which were categorized into four major groups comprising 33 sub-projects, including both new constructions and operational maintenance. The review panel conducted a comprehensive evaluation of each project's necessity, rationality, feasibility, expected outcomes, and budget through document reviews, presentations, inquiries, and discussions. The experts also offered optimization suggestions for each project.
In conclusion, the expert panel provided a consolidated review opinion, unanimously agreeing that the implementation of the reviewed projects would enhance and support the informatization capabilities and services at the Weihai Campus. The panel approved the projects and agreed to proceed with their establishment. Following the meeting, the IT Center, incorporating the experts' feedback, would collaborate with the relevant departments to further refine the project plans and advance subsequent work.
