BJTU Weihai held a teacher ethics and conduct practice activity

On Dec 12, BJTU Weihai held a teacher ethics and conduct practice activity, about 40 faculty and staff members visited the Red Eastern Shandong Exhibition Hall and the Wendeng Museum.
To further deepen the understanding of teacher ethic education and guide faculty and staff in remembering the fundamental mission of fostering virtue, nurturing talent, and promoting the spirit of educators, Weihai Campus organized a practical educational activity on December 12th. Faculty and staff visited the Up-rising Memorial Hall at Tianfushan in Weihai and other sites to carry out this activity.
Inside the Up-rising Memorial Hall, faculty and staff gained a profound understanding of the glorious history of the Communist Party of China leading the people in revolutionary struggles in the Jiaodong region. Through viewing precious historical materials, experiencing restored scenes, and listening to the interpreter's explanations, they deeply appreciated the greatness of the revolutionary predecessors who remained steadfast in revolution era of China.
At Wendeng District Museum, a vast array of cultural exhibits allowed faculty and staff to learn more about the long history and unique culture of the Jiaodong region. This experience strengthened their sense of responsibility as educators to promote outstanding traditional culture.
This practical education is one of the important measures to strengthen the construction of teachers' ethics in Weihai Campus. Weihai campus will always take teacher ethics as the first standard for teachers, integrate the spirit of educators into the whole process of teacher training and teacher career development, and make the construction of teacher ethics become normal and long-term.
