Laboratory Centre was prepared in September 2016, which consists of West Siyuan Building and the fifth floor of No. 1 Teaching Building, with a total construction area of more than 13,000 square meters. It is mainly responsible for the laboratory construction, management, experimental and practical teaching of Weihai campus. Laboratory Centre consists of Laboratories for Physics Demonstration and Exploration, Laboratories for College Physics, Laboratories for Electronics and Communications Engineering, Laboratories for Basic Computer Courses, Laboratories for Computer Science, Laboratories for Environmental Science and Engineering, Laboratories for Economics and Management (Management Information Systems, Accounting and Finance, Business Studies), and Laboratories for Design Interactions. And it also consists of three National Demonstration Centres : National Demonstration Centre for Experimental Physics Education、National Demonstration Centre for Experimental Electrical and Electronics Technology Education、National Demonstration Centre for Experimental Electronic Information and Computer Education.

With the purpose of supporting discipline construction, experimental and practical teaching services, Laboratory Centre provides support and services for all practical modules in BJTU Weihai, and provides places for teachers and students to do experiments and participate in other academic activities on the campus. Meanwhile, Laboratory Centre also undertakes the responsibility of science popularization education, providing science popularization education services for teachers and students of primary and secondary schools in Weihai area, trying to better give back to the society.
