On May 28, companies and enterprises from Weihai Economic and Technological Development Zone visited Weihai Campus to seek opportunities and forge collaborations. Mr. LIN Wanliang, Deputy Party Secretary of BJTU Weihai Campus, attended the meeting and participated in the discussions.

Mr. MA Xiao, Deputy General Manager of Weihai Economic and Technological Development Zone, introduced the company's role as an industrial hub in the Economic Development Zone, detailing its establishment background, resource advantages, strategic location, industrial layout, and core business segments. Mr. TAO Jianqiu, General Manager of Weisen Information Technology, exchanged views on potential collaboration opportunities and talent needs, expressing hopes to establish project partnerships with the campus and implement internship and training programs.
Representatives from the campus's Academic Affairs Office and Information Center, engaged in detailed discussions regarding discipline alignment, professional matching, and technical cooperation.
The meeting focused on "industry-academia-research collaboration" and preliminarily established a cooperation framework centered on internship programs and project-based partnerships. Moving forward, both parties will refine collaboration mechanisms by aligning talent demands, optimizing joint initiatives, and leveraging policy support to foster a sustainable university-enterprise partnership, achieving mutual benefits in "talent development and industrial upgrading".
