On May 25,BJTU Weihai held a mid-term review and final acceptance meeting of Campus-level teaching reform project. This meeting aimed at deepening education reform, improving the teaching level and the quality of talent training. Professor Xiao Guiping, Vice President of BJTU Weihai; Professor Li Shuchun, Director of Teaching Development and International Services; Professor Yin Xunhe,Director of Laboratory Centre and Associate Professor Zhou Hang, Director of Academic Affairs attended the event and served as expert reviewers. .A total of 6 projects participated in the final acceptance review, while 1 project underwent a mid-term inspection.

During the review process, the 7project leaders presented their reports sequentially via PPTs. The 6 completed projects detailed their overall progress in areas such as project planning and design, innovation in methodologies, development of teaching resources, and dissemination of reform outcomes. Notably, the experimental project for the "University Computer Fundamentals" course showcased experimental equipment and self-made teaching aids, providing an intuitive and vivid demonstration of the teaching reform's implementation results and enabling the reviewers to gain a clearer and more comprehensive understanding of the projects' actual execution. Professor Wang Zhen, the lead researcher for the mid-term review project, elaborated in detail on the project's phased achievements, focusing on its progress timeline, interim research findings, implementation of teaching practices, existing challenges, and future plans.







Adhering to the principles of rigor, pragmatism, scientificity, and fairness, the evaluation panel conducted comprehensive and multidimensional reviews and assessments of all projects. Through sessions involving report presentations, document reviews, and question-and-answer sessions, the panel focused on verifying the achievement of research objectives, the quality of interim outcomes, and the budget execution for both completed and mid-term projects. Additionally, based on each project's unique research characteristics and implementation challenges, the panel provided targeted optimization recommendations and follow-up improvement suggestions to ensure effective project outcomes. Following the evaluation, all six completed projects passed the acceptance review successfully, while one mid-term inspection project also met the assessment criteria.
This evaluation constitutes a pivotal component in the systematic advancement of the educational and teaching reform at the Weihai Campus for 2026. Through routine and standardized project reviews and outcome assessments, the effectiveness of the campus's reform initiatives has been thoroughly validated. Weihai International College encourages frontline faculty members to actively engage in teaching reforms. Weihai International College will continue to advance its specialized reform programs, strengthen the substantive development of courses and their integration with ideological and political education, ensure the practical implementation and widespread application of reform achievements, and consistently enhance the institution's educational standards and talent cultivation quality.
