On May 16, 2026, the “Training on Rules of Procedure and Document Writing for China Model United Nations Conferences,” hosted by United Nations Association of China, was held in Beijing. Representatives of the Secretariat of the 22nd China Model United Nations Conference traveled to Beijing to attend the training in person, while other members joined the session via livestream from the Weihai Campus.
The training was delivered by Ren Yisheng, former Chinese Ambassador to the Republic of Liberia. Ambassador Ren provided a systematic explanation of the rules of procedure, consultation processes, and document writing in Model United Nations conferences. Combining theoretical instruction with case analysis, the session helped students strengthen their overall ability to organize and participate in MUN conferences.
This training not only enhanced the overall professional capacity of the campus MUN team, but also provided valuable experience for the Weihai Campus in hosting the 22nd China Model United Nations Conference. Taking this opportunity, Beijing Jiaotong University Weihai Campus will further promote the professional and standardized development of MUN activities, and strive to showcase the spirit, competence, and sense of responsibility of BJTU youth at this year’s conference.
