On Dec 26, a delegation led by Gao Jiye, the Party Secretary of the Holingol Municipal Party Committee, visited the Weihai campus to discuss cultural exchange activities between the two sides.
On December 26th, Gao Jiye, Vice Chairman of the Tongliao Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and Secretary of the Huolinguole Municipal Committee, led a delegation including the Inner Mongolia Chagan Art Troupe to visit the Weihai Campus for a cultural exchange event featuring high art entering the campus. Professors Wang Shuxiang and Zhang Mingyu from the School of Economics and Management at Beijing Jiaotong University were invited by Huolinguole City to accompany the visit. Li Xiangshan, Secretary of CPC Weihai Campus Committee, Liu Ying, Dean of Weihai International College, Lin Wanliang, Vice Secretary of CPC Weihai Campus Committee, and Bai Yanlei, Vice dean of Weihai International College, received the guests and attended the exchange symposium.

Liu Ying delivered a welcome speech on behalf of the Weihai Campus, expressing a warm welcome to the visiting delegation from Huolinguole City and gratitude to the Chagan Art Troupe for bringing high art to the Weihai Campus. Liu Ying stated that the Weihai Campus has always been committed to promoting cultural exchanges and cooperation both on and off-campus, and this exchange event with the Chagan Art Troupe would further advance the development of the campus's cultural and educational endeavors.

Li Xiangshan introduced the basic situation of the Weihai Campus, detailing its development history, talent cultivation, and campus culture construction. Upholding the educational philosophy of "cultivating morality and nurturing talents," the Weihai Campus actively promotes campus culture construction, comprehensively educating students for the Party and the country. As an important link for cultural cooperation between the two regions, the Chagan Art Troupe will further strengthen cooperation in education and culture.

Gao Jiye expressed his gratitude for the warm reception by the Weihai Campus. He mentioned that in recent years, apart from the development of the green power aluminum giant industry, Huolinguole City has leveraged its unique and beautiful geographical environment to rapidly develop the tertiary sector, achieving commendable progress in inheriting and promoting ethnic culture. He also recalled the historical connection between Huolinguole and Beijing Jiaotong University, thanked the university for its contributions to local planning and social development, and hoped for continued deepening of cooperation for mutual benefit.

Other members of the campus leadership also engaged in discussions with the visitors during the meeting. The head of Campus President’s Office was also in attendance.
