The Characteristic Theory Study and Reseaech Association of Beijing Jiaotong University Weihai Campus is a theoretical association for students under the direct guidance of the Youth League Committee of the campus.
The Characteristic Theory Study and Reseaech Association of Beijing Jiaotong University Weihai Campus is guided by Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory, the important thought of "Three Represents" and the scientific outlook on development; it always follows the concept of "the essence of theory, the quality of activities and the elite"; it takes "firm political orientation, study of scientific theory, linking theory with practice and enriching campus culture" as its purpose. The purpose of the program is to "strengthen political direction, study scientific theories, link theory with practice, and enrich campus culture"; to guard the ideological position on campus; to promote and consolidate the core socialist value system, spread advanced ideas, and create a campus atmosphere with good characteristics through various forms of on-campus and off-campus activities, and to strive to make all students have a higher theoretical training and ideological understanding, more accurate grasp of the political direction, a clear understanding of their own historical responsibilities, to actively cooperate now and enthusiastically participate in the reform and modernization of the country in the future to lay a solid foundation.
The Characteristic Theory Study and Reseaech Association of Beijing Jiaotong University Weihai Campus has three departments: office, propaganda department and activity department. In the actual activities, the study and research are carried out by various means and methods, such as thematic discussions, lectures, situation reports, symposiums, study tours, photo exhibitions, knowledge competitions, speech contests, special interviews, social surveys, volunteer services, and teaching support, etc., taking into account the current situation and the actual situation of college students.
