On March 15, Prof. Li Xu, was invited to deliver a lecture to BJTU Weihai students, with the topic of Key technologies of AD-hoc network. This lecture deepened students’ understanding of Ad-Hoc Network system.
On the afternoon of March 15, BJTU Weihai held a lecture on key technologies of cognitive self-organizing network. Li Xu, Chief Scientist of National Defense Science and Technology 173 Program (former National Defense 973 Program), member of Air Force Major Project Expert Group, and second grade professor of Beijing Jiaotong University, explained the key technologies of AD-hoc network, communication waveforms, intelligent cognitive network, and other key technologies of important domestic and international scientific research projects and basic knowledge around the wireless self-organized network, the cognitive resilient collaborative network's evolution and development. Liu Ying, Dean of Weihai International College, attended the lecture.

In the lecture, Prof. Li elaborated the concept and connotation of Cluster Collaborative Networks, introduced the application of Cluster Collaborative Networks in the military field, as well as key technologies and related knowledge such as Cluster Collaborative Networks Scaled Network Architecture, Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access Protocols, Cross-Domain Network Slicing and Resource Control. Dean Liu Ying and Prof. Li Xu had an in-depth discussion on the history of Jiao Tong University's research development in the field of communication self-organized networks, and the planning of research paths for postgraduate and undergraduate students in Weihai Campus.
At the end of the lecture, Prof. Li Xu gave students a lot of pertinent advice on life planning and choice of professional direction, which stimulated students' strong interest in the discipline of communication and broadened their horizons.
