On March 10, 40 undergraduate volunteers from BJTU Weihai Campus went to the Tree Planting Base of Nanhai New Area to carry out a voluntary tree planting activity for college students. In nearly two hours, the volunteers planted more than 140 black pines.
In order to further implement the scientific concept of development, build ecological civilization, and create ecological balance, on the morning of March 10, the campus organized 40 student volunteers to the Tree Planting Base of Nanhai New Area Kuaijia Village south of the mountainous area to participate in the voluntary tree planting activity for the whole population with the government units of the area, enterprises, and villages and neighborhoods. In nearly two hours, the volunteers planted more than 140 seedlings of black pine.
At the tree planting site, volunteers divided into groups of two to three people, or shoveling soil, or supporting seedlings and cultivating soil, or stamping soil and tamping, or watering seedlings, carefully planting a black pine seedlings, greening the environment and beautifying nature.

On the occasion of China's 45th Arbor Day, Weihai Campus organized voluntary tree planting activities to respond to the national call for green ecological civilization, cultivate students' sense of responsibility in caring for flowers and trees and cherishing greenery, and raise campus students' awareness of protecting and purifying the environment. Planting trees and caring for flowers and plants, we expect more volunteers to participate in the voluntary tree planting activities to protect the ecological environment on which we depend!
