On Dec 1, the 8th Annual Recruitment Promotion was held in BJTU Weihai Campus. More than five hundred students from 17 teams will visit their home high schools in 26 provinces soon. Professor LIU Ying, Dean of Weihai International College, LI Xiangshan, Deputy Secretary of CPC of Weihai Campus, LIN Wanliang, Deputy Secretary of CPC of Weihai Campus and XIAO Guiping, Deputy Dean of Weihai International College, attended this meeting.
Watching the Launching Conference of Beijing Campus
Members of this year's practice group watched the kick-off meeting of Beijing Campus in the auditorium, and together with the main campus, they “endorsed the red orchard and expressed their gratitude to their alma mater”.
Wang Hao, Vice Dean of Undergraduate School and Director of Admission Office, put forward three suggestions on the social practice activities of this year's enrollment publicity: make good preparations and gain a deeper understanding of Jiaotong University; make wonderful speeches and show the elegance of Jiaotong University; and summarize and improve the activities continuously to form a good tradition. Tian Yongjing, deputy secretary of the Party committee and vice dean of the School of Marxism, explained how to write a practice report and the format specification. In addition, Duan Xiaoyu, a teacher from the Admission Office, summarized the notes on practice activities for each practice group.
Presentation of certificates of cold enrollment for the academic year 21-22
The Weihai Campus kicked off with an opening video. Li Xiangshan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the campus, presented the award certificates to the excellent instructors of the 21-22 academic year winter recruitment, and Ma Xiao, Director of the Department of Student Development and Services, presented the award certificates to the excellent practice groups of the 21-22 academic year winter recruitment. Teachers led the students to progress together in the activities, gained valuable practical experience, and comprehensively improved their personal organization and communication skills.
Experience Sharing of Past Outstanding Practical Groups
Chen Ziyu and Li Lu, the leaders of the 21-22 Min-Gan-Guizhou-Guangdong Practice Group, shared their experiences with the members of this year's practice group in four aspects: practice content, featured innovations, practice results, and summarized reflections, and sent their best wishes to the members of the new practice group. During the practice, the members not only gained friendship, but also helped each other and made progress hand in hand, sending the warmth of Jiaotong University to every place.
Awarding the appointment letter of sub-leader
Mrs. Xiao Guiping, Vice President of Weihai International College, issued a letter of appointment to the sub-leader of the practice group, encouraging the sub-leader to uphold the fine tradition of “Thinking of the source of water, patriotism and honoring the university”, to practice the motto of “Knowing and Doing”, and to take the responsibility of coordinating the work of the practice group positively in the activities.

Mr. Lin Wanliang, deputy secretary of the Party committee of the campus, conferred the flag on Mr. Wang Tianze, the representative of the enrollment practice group. The new enrollment publicity and social practice activities have begun, under the leadership of the leaders, the practice groups are ready to go.

Qu Jiajie, the head of Shanxi Practice Group of Weihai Campus, shared her past and future with the cold recruiting, and encouraged the heads of practice groups to lead them to bring the good spirit of Jiao Tong University students back to the high school, spread the spirit of Jiao Tong University, and attract more high-quality students.
Dean Liu Ying's Concluding Speech
Mr. Liu Ying, dean of Weihai International College and leader of the enrollment propaganda leading group of Weihai Campus, made a concluding speech for this conference, expressing her gratitude to teachers and students for their efforts and dedication to the enrollment propaganda of Weihai Campus, and at the same time giving full affirmation to the results achieved. She put forward the following three expectations for the members of the practice group: to clarify the significance of the winter recruitment, carefully prepare for the practice; pay attention to their own image, show the style of the students of Jiaotong University; pay attention to the requirements of epidemic prevention, safe travel practice. She also wished all the practice groups to achieve satisfactory results and a complete success of the practice activities.
