In order to deeply implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important exposition on the promotion of excellent traditional Chinese culture, and to fulfill the requirements of enhancing cultural self-confidence put forward by the 20th CPC National Congress, Weihai Campus encourages students to learn the classics, recite the classics, and pass on the classics, and selects the outstanding works to participate in the 2022 Inter-Language Conference of Confucian Classics Recitation, so as to promote the spirit of the language, convey the sound of the language, and cultivate the people and enhance the ambition, backbone, and foundation of the young scholars to be a Chinese person.

Introduction to the event
The “2022 Inter-language Reading Conference of Confucian Classics” is co-sponsored by China Confucius Foundation, Nishan World Confucianism Center, Shandong Provincial Department of Education, Shandong Provincial People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, and is organized by China Confucius Net Media, Shandong Provincial Translators' Association, and Qilu Polytechnic University, with the support of China Translators' Association and the Center for Sino-Foreign Language Exchanges and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education. Supported by the China Translation Association and the Chinese and Foreign Language Exchange and Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Education, the conference promotes the exchange and mutual understanding between Chinese and foreign civilizations by showcasing the excellent traditional Chinese cultural heritage.
