From Nov 17- Nov 20, the Youth Volunteer Association of BJTU Weihai Campus carried out Recycling of Secondhand Clothes, donating clothes to more people in need, showing the kindness and responsibility of students.
The old clothes donation activity to take advance booking registration, offline donation, door-to-door collection of clothing and other diversion of personnel to avoid crowd gathering, reduce the waiting time. Under the normalized situation of epidemic prevention and control, this activity fully protects the health and safety of people at the activity site.

After the donation of old clothes, according to the screening conditions into the corresponding donation channels: clothing that meets the standards will be mailed to poor families as needed; part of the newer clothes will be cleaned and disinfected, and handed over to the relevant foreign trade companies to transport to some poor or war-torn countries in Africa; another part of the old clothes will be recycled.

Little clothes, big warmth. As one of the series activities of “Thanksgiving Month”, the students actively participated in the donation of used clothes, passed on their love, gave back to the society, and demonstrated the social responsibility of the students of Jiaotong University with their practical actions!
