On May 14, the Youth Volunteer Association of BJTU Weihai Campus held the graduation season donation activity in the school. More than 100 teachers and students actively participated in donating old clothes and books. All donated clothes will be uniformly distributed to low-income households in Weihai through the Sunjiatong Village Committee, passing love and warmth with practical actions.

To advocate a green and low-carbon lifestyle, reduce resource waste, and spread the spirit of gratitude and mutual assistance, volunteers of BJTU Weihai Campus actively carried out the charity donation service. On the day of the event, volunteers arrived early to set up the venue, hang banners, guide teachers and students to register in an orderly manner, and sort donated items, ensuring the smooth progress of the activity with thoughtful service.

Graduates came to donate clean clothes and books, and students from lower grades also joined in response. More than 100 kilograms of donated items were collected in total. Volunteers carefully categorized, counted and packed every piece of charitable goods, and stored them properly. These items will be delivered to low-income families in Weihai via the Sunjiatong Village Committee, giving old items a new life and passing love forward, creating an environmentally friendly, warm and harmonious graduation atmosphere.

This activity has built a platform for graduates to show gratitude to their alma mater and pass on love. It has not only reduced resource waste, but also promoted the spirit of volunteer service and social responsibility, fully demonstrating the fine demeanor of BJTU students in mutual help and dedication.
In the future, the Youth Volunteer Association of BJTU Weihai campus will continue to carry out more public welfare practice activities, gathering warmth with little actions and practicing responsibility with youthful strength.
