BJTU Weihai Campus held the first Teaching Competition for Young Teachers

On Oct 31, BJTU Weihai Campus held the first Teaching Competition for Young Teachers, with 10 faculty members participating in.
To further promote the growth of young faculty members and enhance the quality of talent cultivation, the Weihai Campus held its first Teaching Competition for Young Teachers on October 31st. The judging panel included Bai Yanlei, Vice Dean of the Weihai International College and Chairman of the Labor Union, along with faculty members Li Shuchun, Zhou Hang, Liu Jie, and Tian Xiujun. Ding Jingzhi and Ma Xiao were invited as special judges.

Bai Yanlei provided an overview of the university's Teaching Competition for Young Teachers, emphasizing its significance and encouraging young faculty members to fully demonstrate their teaching skills. He highlighted that the competition aims to promote teaching through competition, continuously improving teaching quality.

The 10 participating faculty members meticulously prepared 15-17 minute teaching segments, utilizing animations and models to introduce or elaborate on key concepts, enhancing understanding and aiding in summarization. The faculty members were well-prepared, exhibiting excellent teaching styles and demeanor, which fully showcased the educational and teaching characteristics of the Weihai Campus. The expert judges posed targeted questions and provided thoughtful critiques for each presentation, offering constructive suggestions.


The Teaching Competition for Young Teachers is a traditional teaching competition at our university and serves as an important platform for young faculty members to display their teaching prowess and learn from one another. The Weihai Campus will continue to provide a platform for learning and exchange among young faculty members, driving the improvement of their teaching abilities and the quality of education, thereby contributing to the enhancement of talent cultivation at the campus.
