Weihai Institute for Bionics of Jilin University visited the Weihai Campus

On Nov 26, Weihai Institute for Bionics of Jilin University visited the Weihai Campus to discuss issues related to IT digital management, student development, resource sharing, and other topics.
On the afternoon of November 26th, a delegation of five members led by Wang Aimin, the Secretary of CPC Weihai Bionics Research Institute of Jilin University Committee, visited the Weihai campus for a discussion. Li Xiangshan, the Secretary of CPC Weihai campus, Liu Ying, Dean of Weihai International College, Zhao Xing, Vice Secretary of CPC Weihai Campus Committee, Lin Wanliang, Vice Secretary of CPC Weihai Campus Committee, and Bai Yanlei, the Vice dean of Weihai International College, attended the meeting.

Liu Ying welcomed the delegation from Weihai Institute for Bionics of Jilin University and provided a detailed introduction to the current development status and research management of the Weihai campus and the Weihai Research Institute. She emphasized that as close neighbors, BJTU Weihai campus and Weihai Institute for Bionics of Jilin University should take full advantage of their geographical proximity to enhance exchanges, leverage their respective strengths, and achieve mutually beneficial cooperation. Other members of the campus leadership team also introduced the current development status of the campus in relation to their respective areas of responsibility.

Wang Aimin expressed gratitude for the hospitality of the Weihai campus and provided an overview of the operational management and research projects of Weihai Institute for Bionics of Jilin University. The participants from both sides engaged in discussions on various topics, including the digital management of the IT center, undergraduate internships and joint postgraduate training, apartment management, and the sharing of campus resources.

The meeting was also attended by the heads of Campus Presidents’ Office and New Technology Promotion Office of Weihai Research Institute.
