On Oct 18, WANG Hao, the head of the Student Affairs Office at Beijing Jiaotong University, and four others came to the campus for research and exchange. On the same day, a student work meeting was held at Weihai campus, attended by Campus leaders, all counselors, college supervisors, and psychological teachers.
On October 18th, Wang Hao, Director of BJTU Office of Student Affairs, along with Deputy Director Guo Kai and three other colleagues, visited the Weihai Campus to conduct a special research session on student affairs. Li Xiangshan, Secretary of CPC Weihai Campus Committee, Liu Ying, Dean of Weihai International College, all campus counsellor, residential and student community supervisors, and psychological education teacher attended the meeting.

Liu Ying extended a warm welcome to Wang Hao and his delegation, expressing gratitude for the consistent strong support from BJTU Office of Student Affairs for the student affairs work at the Weihai Campus. She expressed hope that this exchange would strengthen the student affairs team at the Weihai Campus, enhance their capabilities, and solidify efforts in talent cultivation.

Wang Hao gained a detailed understanding of the student affairs work at the campus and offered suggestions and recommendations on how to further promote student party building and mental health education. He stated that BJTU Office of Student Affairs would further strengthen its support for student affairs at the Weihai Campus, enhance work exchanges and resource sharing, and deeply explore the "one university, multiple campuses, multiple bases" student affairs model to continuously improve the quality of student work.

Li Xiangshan reviewed the development history of the Weihai Campus from the perspectives of campus development, party building and ideological-political work, and international education. He introduced the current status of the campus, its future development direction, and reflections on existing issues, while also outlining the future direction of student affairs work at the campus.

Attendees listened to a report on the student affairs work at the Weihai Campus, themed "Exploring the Construction of an International Campus Student Affairs System," and engaged in in-depth discussions on specific student affairs matters.

Wang Hao and his delegation visited the campus's smart classrooms and the "one-stop" student community, gaining a detailed understanding of the campus's teaching facilities, student activities, and living conditions.
