On May 21, the second "Ethnic Rhythm - World Sentiment" traditional culture festival of the Weihai campus was successfully held in the annex building of Student Apartment No. 2. Teachers and students from different countries and regions gathered together, jointly creating a cultural feast that combines ethnic characteristics and international style through traditional cuisine, folk customs display, interactive experiences and cultural performances.
This event set up 18 distinctive booths, covering two sections: the exhibition of Chinese culture and the exhibition of international culture. The atmosphere at the event was lively, and each booth presented creative displays centered around local culture, ethnic characteristics and traditional customs, allowing teachers and students to experience the unique charm of different cultures in an immersive way.

The Chinese Culture Exhibition Area integrates diverse elements such as cuisine, folk customs, art, handicrafts and clothing to organically connect the cultural characteristics of different regions. Students and teachers can taste Jiangnan salted duck, Xinjiang naan and milk tea, participate in local folk customs quizzes and cultural explanations, appreciate the simple wisdom of folk arts in the display of Weihai straw weaving and other handicrafts, understand the cultural connotations of traditional clothing through the explanation of patterns on Han Chinese clothing, and experience the long history of Chinese culture.

The International Culture Exhibition presented the rich and diverse cultures of different countries through interactive forms such as quizzes, games and performances. Students and teachers could learn about sports knowledge in the British cricket knowledge quiz, experience the local customs in the Welsh traditional games, and participate in the combined performance of Brazilian dance, music and martial arts to enhance the understanding and communication between Chinese and foreign cultures.

The second "Ethnic Rhythm - World Sentiment" traditional culture festival vividly demonstrated the unique charm of the integration and coexistence of diverse cultures. It also further deepened the understanding, respect and recognition of different cultures among teachers and students from both China and abroad. In the future, the Weihai campus will continue to hold various cultural exchange activities, striving to create an open, diverse and inclusive campus cultural atmosphere, and providing a broader platform for communication and display for teachers and students from both China and abroad.
