Laboratories for Computer Science and Technology of Beijing Jiaotong University, Weihai (Laboratories for Computer Science in short) are located on the seventh floor of West Siyuan Building of Weihai campus, including Computer Software Laboratory, Computer Hardware Laboratory, Room for Innovation Activities, Room for Practice. The usable area is more than 460 square meters, with over 200 student computer seats, 96 high-performance computers, 2 GPU servers and the high-performance computing platform with 15 server clusters, which provide experimental teaching services for nearly 20 courses of Computer Science and Technology Major.
1. Laboratory Introduction
Beijing Jiaotong University Weihai Campus Computer Science and Technology Laboratory (referred to as Computer Laboratory) is located on the seventh floor of Siyuan West Building on Weihai Campus, which includes computer software laboratory, computer hardware laboratory, innovation activity room and practice activity room, with an area of more than 460 square meters, more than 200 computer spaces for students, 96 sets of high-performance computers, 2 sets of GPU servers and a computing platform of 15 sets of high-performance server clusters, which can provide experimental teaching support services for nearly 20 specialized courses. 2. Laboratory Functions
The main function of Computer Science and Technology Laboratory is to undertake the experimental teaching work of undergraduate computer science majors, such as on-line experiment, course design and graduation design. It helps students to deepen their understanding and mastery of theoretical computer knowledge, and provides students with corresponding professional practice training platforms in application algorithm development, software program design, computer hardware platform construction, computer network construction, etc., aiming at cultivating students' ability to comprehensively utilize computer software and hardware knowledge to solve practical problems.
2.1 Computer Software Laboratory
The computer software laboratory covers an area of 127 square meters, and has realized full gigabit network access and wireless network coverage. The lab has 48 computer stations for students, and each station is equipped with high-performance computers and advanced multimedia network teaching system. It is mainly responsible for teaching experiments of basic theory courses and software development courses for computer majors, including more than 20 courses such as C language programming, data structure, software development technology, etc., and it is able to provide teachers and students with a good experimental environment for software development.

2.2 Computer Hardware Laboratory
The computer hardware laboratory covers an area of 116 square meters and has realized full gigabit network access and wireless network coverage. The laboratory has 48 students on the machine, each machine is equipped with a new type of digital circuit synthesis experiment box and high-performance computers, and is equipped with advanced multimedia network teaching system. In addition, the lab has purchased the latest PIC embedded open system and supporting software, which can meet most of the needs of computer hardware teaching.

2.3 Innovation Activity Room

2.4 Practical Activity Room
The practical activity room covers an area of 101 square meters, with 36 open group machine spaces. The laboratory is equipped with advanced multimedia network teaching system, which can facilitate teachers and students to display and interact with their coursework during group discussions, and provide an open practice space for students' course design and graduation design.
