To make up for the deficiency of the current indoor positioning application, this project decided to develop a set of indoor positioning system based on RFID with the DWM1000 module and STM32 control chip. The user only needs to walk around the room with the label, and the system will automatically detect the location of the label in the room with the three-point positioning method, and display the positioning graph of the relative position of the person and the exhibits through the mobile phone APP.
Due to the current maturity of outdoor positioning and location-based services, GPS- and map-based location services have been widely used. In recent years, the technology and industry related to location services are moving indoors to provide ubiquitous location-based services. Our group aims to be able to provide an indoor positioning option to enhance the customer experience. To make up for the shortcomings of the current indoor positioning applications, we decided to develop a set of RFID-based indoor positioning system based on the DWM1000 module, STM32 control chip, and the use of radio frequency technology. The advantage is that the use of RFID probe for indoor positioning accuracy of meters and can be used to cell phone client to display the real-time location and will have visited the attractions to mark the list of visited and unvisited; in addition to its low economic costs and a variety of varieties; the most important thing is that the system uses electronic tags and detection equipment, basically does not produce radiation, the tag is small in size, and raw materials to take does not cause environmental pollution. Its use is also extremely simple, the user only need to take the label in the indoor walking, the system will automatically use the three-point positioning method to detect the label in the indoor position and through the cell phone app presents the relative position of people and exhibits positioning graphics. It overcomes the problem that GPS can not be accurately located in the building, giving users a good experience.
