On Dec 19, BJTU Weihai’s Center for International Education held 2021 New Year party for international students. Forty international students from twenty-one countries, together with some Chinese students participated in the event.
Grace from the Philippines and Abdi from Indonesia captivated the audience with their guitar performances, singing "I'm Yours" and "Say You Won't Let Go." Additionally, a variety of dance performances in different styles added to the festive atmosphere. The event was further enlivened by a series of thoughtfully designed games, bringing laughter and joy to the students. Teachers from the International Student Education Center also prepared a digital photo album for the international students on campus, extending their New Year wishes and adding a heartfelt touch to the celebration.
The host of the New Year event, Polina from Russia, expressed her gratitude: "Thank you to every friend who attended the evening party, and to all the teachers on campus for their care and support throughout the year. We hope that the annual New Year celebration will continue to strengthen the bond between international students and Chinese students, bringing us closer together."
