To deepen innovation and entrepreneurship education, strengthen students' competition preparation capabilities, and help campus students achieve further success in high-level innovation and entrepreneurship competitions, the 4th Entrepreneurship Training Camp of Beijing Jiaotong University Weihai Campus was successfully held in April. Focusing on empowering students through practical competition experience, this training camp specially invited instructors of national-level award-winning projects and award-winning students to share insights on-site. It also planned online training courses simultaneously, building a full-chain cultivation model featuring "offline intensive lectures + practical roadshows + online reinforcement," delivering a comprehensive and enriching innovation and entrepreneurship empowerment course for students.

On April 2, the training camp officially opened. Dong Rui, an instructor of national-level award-winning teams, delivered a special sharing session on competition preparation. He provided detailed explanations on the structure of the China International College Students' Innovation Competition, competition skills, project incubation mechanisms, and resource support. Drawing on years of guidance experience, he broke down key competition stages, clarifying preparation strategies and pointing out improvement directions for students.

Ma Xiao, Director of Student Affairs and Services, attended the event and delivered a speech. Ma Xiao stated that the campus has continuously improved the full-chain innovation and entrepreneurship cultivation system, achieving multiple national and provincial/ministerial awards in the past year, with fruitful results in innovation and entrepreneurship education. He encouraged students to be daring and innovative, work pragmatically, cherish the training opportunities to hone their skills, and strive for new heights and achievements in the innovation and entrepreneurship arena.

On April 9, the practical sharing session of the training camp took place. Huang Taorui, leader of the national special prize-winning team of The National Competition on E-Commerce Innovation, Originality and Entrepreneurship for College Students Regional Trials, and Du Hao, winner of the national silver prize in the China International College Students' Innovation Competition, took the stage successively. Through a combination of on-site roadshow demonstrations and practical experience sharing, they imparted valuable insights on competition preparation processes, project refinement details, roadshow presentation skills, and team collaboration methods. Drawing on their own competition experiences, the two award-winning students shared the entire journey from project conception to implementation and perfection, from breaking through in campus competitions to winning national awards. They provided practical suggestions on common problems and pitfalls in competition preparation. The on-site interaction was lively, and students benefited greatly.
To achieve full coverage and normalization of competition preparation guidance, this training camp also launched a series of online special training sessions. These sessions systematically covered core competition preparation content, including the underlying logic of innovation and entrepreneurship competitions, analysis of rules for different tracks, preparation of competition materials, and roadshow defenses, helping students break through time and space limitations, consolidate learning outcomes, and improve competition preparation efficiency.

This entrepreneurship training camp closely aligned with students' actual needs in competition preparation, centered on professional guidance and practical sharing, effectively enhancing the campus students' innovation and entrepreneurship capabilities and competition preparation level. In the future, the campus will continue to improve the innovation and entrepreneurship cultivation system, enrich practical activity carriers, build a broader growth platform for students, and help Jiaotong University students forge ahead bravely and achieve new success on the path of innovation and entrepreneurship.
