Through Sino-foreign cooperative education, we introduce advanced foreign educational concepts and curriculum systems, adopt English original textbooks, and implement English teaching.
Upon completion of all the requirements stipulated in the Sino-foreign cooperative education program, with qualified grades meeting the degree awarding conditions of both universities, students will be granted a graduation certificate, degree certificate, and the degree certificate from the partner institution.

By introducing high-quality educational resources from top universities such as Lancaster University in the UK and Rochester Institute of Technology in the US, and adopting a cooperative education model with foreign countries, we aim to cultivate high-level professional talents who have an international perspective, understand international rules, can participate in international affairs, are internationally competitive, and have comprehensive development in morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics, and labor skills.
A1. The majors at Weihai campus are integrated with the advantages of both institutions, and jointly develop professional training plans. Teachers from both Chinese and foreign universities cooperate in teaching. More than 1/3 of the professional and core courses are taught by teachers from the foreign partner universities, and about 2/3 of the courses are taught by teachers from the main campus of Beijing Jiaotong University in Beijing.
All majors are based on the 4+0 educational model, and students will study full-time at the Weihai campus for 4 years. During the study period, students with outstanding academic performance have the opportunity to be selected for exchange studies at partner universities for one semester or one academic year.
A4. After being admitted, students will obtain dual enrollment at Beijing Jiaotong University and the collaborating foreign institution after passing the reexamination. If students fail to meet the academic requirements of both Beijing Jiaotong University and the collaborating institution, they will be subject to the regulations of both schools.
The student's academic records and household registration are both located in the Beijing campus. After enrollment, they will study full-time at the Weihai campus of Beijing Jiaotong University for four years (Address: No. 69 Modern Road, Nanhaitai, Weihai, Shandong), with a maximum study period not exceeding 6 years due to reasons such as repeating a year or illness.
Weihai Campus focuses on international education programs, collaborates with well-known foreign universities, integrates the professional advantages of both sides, jointly designs training programs, introduces advanced teaching concepts and high-quality educational resources, conducts classes in English, and achieves studying abroad without going abroad.
The courses at Weihai Campus are jointly taught by professional teachers from relevant colleges of Beijing Jiaotong University and teachers from foreign partner colleges. Domestic professional course teachers have overseas study or further education backgrounds, and more than one-third of the professional and core courses are taught by teachers from foreign partner colleges.

Lancaster University has one of the best Environmental Science departments in the UK and the internationally renowned Lancaster University Management School (LUMS).
