She encouraged the freshmen to actively contribute ideas and suggestions for the school's development and student growth, while also conveying the care and concern of campus leaders and administrative staff to their peers. She urged the freshmen representatives to voice their opinions, assuring that faculty representatives from various departments would provide detailed responses to their suggestions. Additionally, the Student Development and Service Department would carefully record and relay student feedback to relevant campus departments for improvements, aiming to create a campus environment that is beautiful, academically rigorous, and service-oriented.

During the discussion, the 23 student representatives took turns sharing their experiences since enrollment and offered suggestions on topics such as English learning, library policies, career planning, infrastructure development, and dormitory management. They also expressed heartfelt gratitude to the campus faculty and staff for their hard work, acknowledging that the warm care from campus leaders and the diverse activities organized by the campus had helped them find a sense of belonging.

Meanwhile, international faculty representatives Julie, Chris, and John engaged with undergraduate freshmen from Sino-foreign cooperative programs on topics such as English learning, curriculum design for British and American programs, and studying abroad.

In his concluding remarks, Sun Wenbo thanked the freshmen representatives for their valuable suggestions and affirmed their efforts in making the symposium a success. He stated that students could communicate with the school through various channels, such as "Hongguo Voice," "Face-to-Face with Campus Leaders," counselors, and enterprise WeChat. For reasonable suggestions, the campus would provide satisfactory improvement plans to ensure students feel the warmth and care of the campus. He also encouraged students to cherish their time, stay motivated, and strive for a fulfilling university life.
