BJTU Held 2025 Campus Open Day and Multi-universities Joint Admission Counseling at Weihai Campus

On April 19, BJTU held the 2025 Campus Open Day and the Admission Counseling together with numerous universities at Weihai Campus. This event provided an in-depth understanding of BJTU and Weihai Campus for the senior high school students and their parents. More importantly, this event further improved the quality of enrollment publicity, attracting high-quality students to apply for BJTU. Over 1,500 prospective students and parents from across Shandong Province and beyond converged with representatives from 50+ universities nationwide for this pivotal education event.





University delegates engaged in personalized consultations, offering strategic guidance on academic program selection and admission procedures. Beijing Jiaotong University's delegation, including officials from its Undergraduate Admissions Office, Weihai Campus admissions team, and Shandong recruitment taskforce, provided comprehensive insights into institutional strengths, disciplinary specialties, and evolving admission policies.



A dedicated policy briefing at the Student Activity Center Auditorium highlighted Beijing Jiaotong University's distinctive offerings. Professor LIU Ying, Dean of Weihai International College, outlined the campus' educational philosophy and state-of-the-art facilities, while Vice Dean MA Tai of Undergraduate Admissions elucidated academic advantages and enrollment innovations through an engaging presentation.





The open day experience unfolded through immersive campus tours led by student ambassadors, showcasing signature spaces including smart classrooms, Siyuan Square, laboratories, library, athletic complexes and residential halls. Attendees participated in live foreign faculty demonstrations and student-led seminars, gaining firsthand exposure to the institution's global learning environment and vibrant campus culture.
