The National University Students Intelligent Car Race is an exploratory engineering practice activity for college students across the country with smart cars as the research object. The competition aims to promote quality education in colleges and universities, cultivate college students' comprehensive knowledge application ability, basic engineering practice ability and innovative consciousness, stimulate college students' interest and potential in scientific research and exploration, and create conditions for outstanding talents to come to the fore.
Beijing Jiaotong University Intelligent Vehicle Competition for College Students is hosted by the Organizing Committee of Intelligent Vehicle Competition for College Students and organized by the School of Electronic and Information Engineering, aiming to improve the interest and potential of our students to engage in scientific research and exploration, cultivate the engineering quality and engineering spirit of the students, and to form the academic style of linking theory to practice, seeking truth and pragmatism, and the spirit of teamwork and selection of team members for the university to participate in the National Intelligent Vehicle Competition for College Students.
Students from Weihai Campus participated in the Intelligent Vehicle Competition for College Students of Beijing Jiaotong University for the first time in 2020, and a total of 8 teams won the awards, among which 1 team won the first prize, 3 teams won the second prize and 4 teams won the third prize.
