The “Challenge Cup” China University Students' Entrepreneurship Plan Competition is a national competition with orientation, demonstration and mass participation, which is co-sponsored by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, China Association for Science and Technology, Ministry of Education, All-China Federation of Universities, and local provincial governments, and hosted by domestic famous universities and jointly sponsored by the news media. It is conducive to cultivating and improving the awareness and ability of innovation, creativity, creativity and entrepreneurship, promoting the vigorous development of employment and entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurship practice among college students, and discovering and cultivating a group of outstanding talents with innovative thinking and entrepreneurial potential.
At the end of 2020, the 12th Challenge Cup Entrepreneurship Plan Competition for Chinese College Students came to a successful conclusion. Since its launch, the competition has attracted 179,000 projects from 2,786 schools across China. Students from Weihai Campus of Beijing Jiaotong University participated in the 2020 “Challenge Cup” Capital University Entrepreneurship Plan Competition and won the gold medal. On the basis of this, the student team participated in the 2020 Challenge Cup China Student Entrepreneurship Program Competition and won the silver medal, which is the best achievement of BJTU in this competition in the last five years.
