Laboratories for Basic Computer Courses of Beijing Jiaotong University, Weihai are located on the fifth floor of West Siyuan Building of Weihai campus, including Computer Laboratory 1 , Computer Laboratory 2 , Computer Dismantling Lab ，Room for Innovation Activities. The total area is 473 square meters, with 205 student computer seats, 175 high-performance computers, 2 exclusive examination servers and the high-performance cloud desktop platform with 7 server clusters, which provide experimental teaching services for over 20 courses and satisfy the need of paperless computer examination.
1. Laboratory Introduction
The Public Computer Course Laboratory of Beijing Jiaotong University Weihai Campus is located on the fifth floor of Siyuan West Building of Weihai Campus, including Public Computer Room 1, Public Computer Room 2, and Demolition Laboratory. It covers an area of about 600 square meters, with 205 computer stations for students, 175 high-performance computers, 2 special servers for exams, and 7 cloud desktop platforms with high-performance server clusters, mainly providing experimental teaching services for more than 20 basic computer courses on the campus, and assuming the tasks of various types of paperless on-line exams on the campus.
2. Laboratory Functions
The public computer course laboratory undertakes the experimental teaching tasks of basic computer courses for students of all grades in the campus, such as basic university computer, C language programming, Java language programming and other related courses, to help students deepen their understanding of computer knowledge, programming and network knowledge, and to provide students with appropriate professional practice in the areas of disassembling and assembling commonly used computer hardware, the use of computer software, program design, and the construction of computer networks. It also provides students with a platform for professional practice training in common computer hardware disassembly and installation, computer software use, program design, and computer network construction. The public computer course laboratories are open to the teachers and students of the campus on weekdays, providing a good environment for experimentation, lectures, online examinations, etc., enriching students' knowledge of computer software and hardware, and cultivating students' innovative ability and ability to solve practical problems.
2.1 Public Computer Room 1
Public computer room 1 covers an area of 218 square meters and has realized full gigabit network access and wireless network coverage. The laboratory has 119 student machine spaces, equipped with 119 sets of experimental computers. The lab is equipped with a perfect multimedia network teaching system, which enhances the classroom interactive experience of teachers and students, and provides a good environment for teachers and students of the campus to do on-line experiments. At the same time, the lab has been built into a standardized examination room to undertake all kinds of paperless on-line examination tasks in the campus, such as the National Computer Grade Examination, HSK Chinese Grade Examination, ACCA International Certified Public Accountant Examination, mid-term and final exams and other kinds of paperless on-line examinations.

With an area of 125 square meters, the Public Computer Room 2 has realized full Gigabit network access and wireless network coverage. The laboratory has 56 student computer stations, equipped with 56 sets of computers for experiments. The lab is equipped with a perfect multimedia network teaching system, which enhances the classroom interactive experience of teachers and students, and provides a good environment for teachers and students of the campus to do on-line experiments. At the same time, the lab has been built into a standardized examination room to undertake all kinds of paperless on-line examination tasks in the campus, such as the National Computer Grade Examination, HSK Chinese Grade Examination, ACCA International Certified Public Accountant Examination, mid-term and final exams and other kinds of paperless on-line examinations.

2.3 Disassembly laboratory
The dismantling laboratory covers an area of 62 square meters. The laboratory has 30 students on the machine, each machine is equipped with experimental special disassembler tools, for computer hardware disassembly and other courses to provide experimental conditions, to meet the needs of 30 students at the same time hands-on experiments.

2.4 Innovation room
The area of the innovation activity room is 68 square meters. The activity room has 32 computer stations for students, and each station is equipped with experimental special network cable production tools, which provide experimental conditions for the production of network cables, wireless router configuration and other courses; at the same time, the activity room is targeted to open up for students, providing an open innovation space for college students' scientific and technological innovation activities.
