Laboratories for Economics and Management of Beijing Jiaotong University, Weihai are located on the sixth floor of West Siyuan Building of Weihai campus, with a usable area of more than 700 square meters, including Laboratory for Management Information Systems, Laboratory for Business Studies, Laboratory for Accounting and Finance, Room for Case Studies and Seminar Room, which are mainly for undergraduates majoring in Management Information Systems, Accounting and Finance, Business Studies on Weihai campus and provide practical platforms for over 10 experimental courses.
1. Laboratory Introduction
The Economic Management Laboratory of Beijing Jiaotong University Weihai Campus is located on the sixth floor of Siyuan West Building of Weihai Campus. With an area of more than 700 square meters, the Economics and Management Laboratory consists of the Information Management and Information System Laboratory, Business Administration Laboratory, Accounting and Finance Laboratory, Case Room, and Seminar Room, which is mainly for the undergraduates of the three majors of Information Management and Information System, Accounting, and Business Administration on Weihai Campus, and provides a practical platform for more than ten experimental courses.
2. Laboratory Functions
The Laboratory of Economics and Management mainly meets the needs of experimental teaching of Information Management and Information System, Business Administration and Accounting courses, provides a platform for teachers to teach and practice, and at the same time, provides important support for improving students' practical ability, innovation ability, analyzing and problem solving ability, as well as cultivating students' scientific spirit of independent thinking and courage to explore. The lab covers different fields such as big data analysis and cloud computing application, which can not only be used for information system development practice, but also meet the cutting-edge teaching and application of information industry. The laboratory focuses on cultivating students' hands-on ability, innovation ability, and making them high-quality compound talents with international competitiveness, so that students not only specialize in depth, but also have the characteristics of “cross-fusion of disciplines”, and not only excel in the technical level, but also have the economic, social and management capabilities, as well as good humanistic qualities.
2.1 Information Management and Information System Laboratory
Information management and information systems laboratory area of 116 square meters, the laboratory is equipped with 42 sets of high-performance computers, with seven groups of six people computer round table, a touch all-in-one computer, a number of flat-panel terminal display projection system. The laboratory is equipped with multimedia interactive software, which can be used to carry out interactive, flexible, student-centered teaching mode, and help teachers guide students to develop interactive learning ability.

2.2 Business Administration Laboratory
With an area of 195 square meters, the Business Administration Laboratory is equipped with 80 high-performance computers, multimedia network teaching interactive software, multiple flat-panel terminal display and projection systems, and teaching software for business administration-related courses, which is convenient for teachers and students to conduct course learning.

2.3 Accounting and Finance Laboratory
Accounting and finance laboratory area of 190 square meters, the laboratory is equipped with 80 sets of high-performance computers, multimedia network teaching interactive software, a number of flat-panel terminal display projection system, equipped with teaching software for accounting and finance-related professional courses, while building an industry big data analysis case library, which can be used for big data analysis and application of the course, through data collection, data cleaning, data management, data mining, etc. to solve practical problems in the industry.

2.4 Case Laboratory
The case laboratory covers an area of 101 square meters, and the laboratory is equipped with 42 high-performance all-in-one computers, multimedia network teaching interactive software, and multiple flat-panel terminal display projection systems. The laboratory is installed with several sets of business case analysis simulation software, which can provide teachers and students with an environment for exploring cases for related courses, graduation design, as well as university students' innovative research.

2.5 Seminar Room
The seminar room covers an area of 42 square meters and is equipped with a touch-screen all-in-one machine, conference tables and chairs, as well as study materials related to economics and management majors. The laboratory can be used for teaching seminars between teachers, teachers and students, and provides an open exchange venue for teachers and students to conduct innovative research.
