1. BJTU Weihai Held “Face-to-face Talk Over Lunch”
In 2021, BJTU Weihai organized students to have communication with campus leaders, and conducted face-to-face talk over lunch, discussing personal puzzles and the development of Campus.
2. BJTU Weihai Held A Series of Activities for Positive Learning
BJTU Weihai has launched a series of activities to help create a positive learning atmosphere. Some student dormitories with good study habits were awarded the "Excellent Study Style Dormitory".
3. BJTU Weihai Held 2021 Graduation Gala
On June 19, Graduation Gala of 2021 was held at BJTU Weihai’s playground, which was also broadcast live online. Around 100 Chinese students and international stuffs stepped onto the stage to give their performance, attracting more than ten thousand audience on spot and online.
4. Student Union of BJTU Weihai Carried Out the "One Hour of Exercise a Day"
In 2021, BJTU Weihai Student Union carried out the "One Hour of Exercise a Day" activity for all students, with a total of more than 500 students participating. It guided students out of the dormitory and classrooms through self-selected sports forms, and improved the physical quality of students, created a good sports atmosphere, and implemented the National Fitness Program.
5. BJTU Weihai Student Union Comprehensively Optimized
BJTU Weihai Student Union has been comprehensively optimized according to Several Opinions on the Deepening Reform of the University Student Union (Graduate Union). Their focus shifted to students' rights and interests and learning atmosphere. A total of 40 student activities were held, including 13 related to students' rights and interests, 12 related to learning atmosphere, 12 related to sports and sports activities, and 4 related to team building.
6. BJTU Weihai Held Various Activities to Commemorate the Centenary of CPC
“A hundred years’ torch relay always finds the youth in stream”. Young students of BJTU Weihai participated in various activities to commemorate the centenary of CPC, vowing to continue the race of rejuvenating of the nation with the baton handed over to them by the young pioneers a century ago.
7. BJTU Weihai Held Labor Practice Education
In order to encourage students to feel the joy and harvest of labor, the campus organized league branches to experience the whole process of labor in the open space on the south side of the playground.
8. BJTUer volunteered in 2021 National Table Tennis Olympic Warm-up
From July 6 to July 10, nineteen representatives of BJTU Weihai participated in volunteer service of 2021 National Table Tennis Team Olympic Warm-up held in Weihai, using their respective expertise to provide media docking services for the event and provide logistical support for the venues.
9. BJTU Weihai Held Just One Last Dance
On June 18, Just One Last Dance was successfully held in the International Exchange Center of East Siyuan Building. The purpose of this dance is to provide a stage for graduates to show themselves and build a bridge for communication.
10. BJTU Weihai Held 2021 Freshmen Gala and the Second Reunion Tonight
On Nov 28, BJTU Weihai held its 2021 Freshmen Gala and the Second Reunion Tonight, which was a grand celebration of the Campus’ clubs and societies. It provided an opportunity for students to show their talents. More than 300 students and teachers attended the event, and thousands online.
11. Achievements in the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition
In September, the 7th "Internet+" College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Industrial Track Beijing Division rematch came to an end. In this competition, the project "New Electric Ozone Multifunctional Water Processor" from Weihai Campus won the first prize in the Beijing Division and was shortlisted for the national finals of the industry track of this competition. This team is also the three finalist teams of BJTU and the only team that is composed entirely of undergraduate students.
12. BJTU Weihai Held Activities to Commemorate “December Ninth” Movement
From Nov 29 to Dec 9, BJTU Weihai held a series of activities to commemorate the “December Ninth” Movement, including Flag-raising Ceremony, Signature Activity, Speech Contest and Orienteering Relay Race. These activities aimed at promoting students’ patriotism and inspiring young people bravely shoulder mission of times.
