China College Students' 'Internet+’ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition responds the topic "Internet+ to achieve dreams, innovation and entrepreneurship, and open up the future”. It is co-sponsored by the Ministry of education and the relevant ministries and the government of Jilin province. The competition aimed at deepening the comprehensive reform of higher education, stimulating the creativity of university students, cultivating the main force of "mass entrepreneurship and innovation", promoting transformation of competition results, promoting the formation of new formats of "Internet plus", improving service quality, enhancing efficiency and upgrading efficiency, leading innovation and Entrepreneurship to employment, and promoting higher quality employment and employment of college graduates.
中国“互联网+”大学生创新创业大赛，以“‘互联网+’成就梦想，创新创业开辟未来”为主题，由教育部与有关部委和吉林省人民政府共同主办。大赛旨在深化高等教育综合改革，激发大学生的创造力，培养造就“大众创业、万众创新”的主力军；推动赛事成果转化，促进“互联网+”新业态形成，服务经济提质增效升级；以创新引领创业、创业带动就业，推动高校毕业生更高质量创业就业。
大赛采用校级初赛、省级复赛、全国总决赛三级赛制。威海校区学生于2019年参加中国“互联网+”大学生创新创业大赛，31名学生组成6支队伍参加校级选拔赛，17人（3个项目）获得校级二等奖、6人（1个项目）获得校级三等奖。三支队伍代表学校参加北京赛区复赛，17人全部获得北京市级三等奖。2020年1人获得校级一等奖、32人（6个项目）获得校级二等奖、37人（7个项目）获得校级三等奖；六支队伍代表学生参加北京赛区复赛，1人获得北京市二等奖，27人（5支队伍）获北京市二等奖。
