The History Association of Beijing Jiaotong University (Weihai) was founded in September 2016 with the name of "Ancient and Modern History Society".
Since its establishment, the history club has produced a list of history books to encourage its members to read history books and to publish their reflections and impressions on history. In order to enrich college students' college life, the history society once held encyclopedia knowledge contests in the history culture festival and learning society and the science and technology association. In order to make Chinese students and students from other countries understand each other, the history club has held exhibitions on cultural exchange and collision with the ancient culture club and the association of foreign countries and international exchanges. The history club once encouraged its members to participate in the first "experts face to face" seminar salon held by Beijing Jiaotong University in Weihai.
History is not only a story of the past, but also a kind of reflection and exploration, and even points the way for the future. From ancient history to modern history, from the history of China to the history of the world, we share history together and appreciate the thoughts that history brings to us.
We do not discuss whether history is right or wrong. We learn from history and learn from history to become ourselves. Think about history, take history as a mirror, understand the past and the present, and integrate the world to win the future.
北京交通大学（威海）历史社创建于2016年9月，起名为“古今历史社”。
历史社成立至今曾制作历史书单，鼓励社友看历史书籍，并发表对历史的反思与感想。为了充实大学生的大学生活，历史社曾在历史文化祭与学习社以及科协举办百科知识竞赛。为了使在校中国学生与他国学生之间相互了解，历史社曾与古风社以及中外国际交流协会举办文化交流碰撞的展览。历史社曾鼓励社员参与北京交通大学威海首届“专家面对面”研讨沙龙活动。
历史不仅仅是过去发生的故事，更重要的是一种反思和探索，乃至为未来指明道路。从古代史到现代史，从中国史到世界史，我们一起分享历史，体味历史带给我们的思想。
我们不讨论历史对错，我们从历史中学习，借鉴历史，从而成就自己。思考历史，以史为鉴，通达古今知兴替，交融世界赢未来。
