Laboratory Centre was prepared in September 2016, which consists of West Siyuan Building and the fifth floor of No. 1 Teaching Building, with a total construction area of more than 13,000 square meters. It is mainly responsible for the laboratory construction, management, experimental and practical teaching of Weihai campus. Laboratory Centre consists of Laboratories for Physics Demonstration and Exploration, Laboratories for College Physics, Laboratories for Electronics and Communications Engineering, Laboratories for Basic Computer Courses, Laboratories for Computer Science, Laboratories for Environmental Science and Engineering, Laboratories for Economics and Management (Management Information Systems, Accounting and Finance, Business Studies), and Laboratories for Design Interactions. And it also consists of three National Demonstration Centres : National Demonstration Centre for Experimental Physics Education、National Demonstration Centre for Experimental Electrical and Electronics Technology Education、National Demonstration Centre for Experimental Electronic Information and Computer Education.
北京交通大学威海校区实验中心筹建于2016年9月,包括思源西楼和一号教学楼五楼,总建筑面积一万三千多平方米,主要承担威海校区实验室的建设、管理、实验与实践教学等工作。实验中心包含物理演示与探索实验室、大学物理实验室、电子与通信工程专业实验室、公共计算机课程实验室、计算机科学与技术专业实验室、环境科学与工程专业实验室、经济管理类专业实验室(信息管理与信息系统、会计学、工商管理)和数字媒体艺术专业实验室,还拥有北京交通大学国家级物理实验教学示范中心、国家级电子信息与计算机实验教学示范中心、国家级电工电子实验教学示范中心三个国家级实验教学平台。

一、物理演示与探索实验室
Laboratories for Physics Demonstration and Exploration
The Laboratories for Physics Demonstration and Exploration were established in September 2016. They are located on the 1st to 3rd floor of West Siyuan Building, with more than 1300 square meters of usable area. They are mainly responsible for physics demonstration courses in Weihai campus and social science services.
物理演示与探索实验室位于北京交通大学威海校区思源西楼第1至3层,使用面积1300余平方米,采用科学内容与科学环境一体化的理念进行设计。
一层大厅通过大型傅科摆、裸眼立体图、“宇宙大爆炸”巨幅油画等,营造出轻松愉悦的学习环境。

三层是学生创新实践天地。科学培训教室和学生科学实践课程教室可以为学生开展科学培训和实践教学。科技活动加工室可以为大学生创新创业训练项目和学科竞赛提供实验平台。轨道交通特色展示室内有高铁模拟驾驶台和轨道车辆综合实验平台等仪器设备,可以让学生亲身体验驾驶高铁的感觉并简单了解高铁的工作原理。几何机器人验室内有29款共计105件用于展示的机器人,通过机器人的机构结构原理的科普讲解与展示,可以让参观者初步了解各种机械知识。

二、大学物理实验室
Laboratories for College Physics
Laboratories for College Physics are located on the fourth floor of West Siyuan Building, with 9 laboratories, covering a usable area of more than 700 square meters. They include Modern Physics Laboratory, Optics Laboratory, Mechanics Laboratory, Electrics Laboratory, PASCO Laboratory, etc. The laboratories provide College Physics Experiment (I) and College Physics Experiment (II) courses for undergraduates majoring in Electronics and Communications Engineering, Computer Science, Environmental Science and Engineering on Weihai campus.
大学物理实验室位于思源西楼四层,共9间实验室,使用面积约700余平方米,涵盖了力学、热学、声学、电磁学、光学、近代物理等领域的众多经典物理实验。该实验室为威海校区的通信工程、计算机科学与技术、环境科学与工程三个专业的本科生提供大学物理实验(Ⅰ)和大学物理实验(Ⅱ)的课程。

PASCO实验平台是一个将计算机数据采集与分析应用于物理实验的系统,运用现代电子技术,采用传感器进行数据采集,电脑进行过程控制和数据处理,尤其是对一些瞬态变化的物理量能做到实时测量,对一些不易观察的物理现象能实现感官展示。根据PASCO实验平台实验附件可组装性强的特征进行新的实验设计与设备研究,实现PASCO实验平台的设计性应用与扩展研究。
光谱测量综合实验
随着计算机、CCD技术及微晶刻蚀技术的发展,微型数字光谱仪也成为了实验室光谱分析的重要工具。该仪器采用特殊微型晶片光学结构并改进一般光谱仪准直面镜-平面光学结构-聚焦面镜的设计架构,以单一元件与最小体积完成分光和聚焦功能,具有波长探测范围较宽,高稳定性,可编程控制,设计紧凑,便于携带和测量等优势。

Laboratories for Electronics and Communications Engineering
As an important platform for experimental teaching, Laboratories for Electronics and Communications Engineering support more than 20 undergraduate teaching experiments in electronic technology and communication technology-related courses, as well as a number of practical activities such as Graduation Projects, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Experiment, the National Undergraduate Electronics Design Contest, and the National University Students Intelligent Car Race, etc. Laboratories mainly includes Telecommunication Equipment Exhibition Room, Practical Activity Room, Computer and Communication Laboratory, Innovation Activity Room, the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Laboratory, RF Laboratory, and Practical Activity Processing Room.

Laboratories for Basic Computer Courses
Laboratories for Basic Computer Courses of Beijing Jiaotong University, Weihai are located on the fifth floor of West Siyuan Building of Weihai campus, including Computer Laboratory 1 , Computer Laboratory 2 , Computer Dismantling Laboratory and Room for Innovation Activities. Laboratories are mainly responsible for the teaching tasks of computer-related basic courses for students of all grades in the campus, such as Computer culture, C language programming, Java language programming and other related courses, to provide the whole school teachers and students with learning, experiments, lectures, online examinations and other good use experience.

Laboratories for Computer Science
Laboratories for Computer Science and Technology of Beijing Jiaotong University, Weihai (Laboratories for Computer Science in short) are located on the seventh floor of West Siyuan Building of Weihai campus, including Computer Software Laboratory, Computer Hardware Laboratory, Room for Innovation Activities, Room for Practice. Laboratories have set up more than 20 experimental projects, such as advanced language programming, system and application software development, embedded system development, etc., which provide experimental teaching services for nearly 20 courses in computer science and technology major.
计算机科学与技术专业实验室包括计算机软件实验室、计算机硬件实验室、创新活动室、实践活动室。目前开设了高级语言编程、系统及应用软件开发、嵌入式系统开发等二十余项实验项目,能够为计算机科学与技术专业近二十余门课程提供实验教学服务。

六、环境科学与工程专业实验室
Laboratories for Environmental Science and Engineering
Laboratories for Environmental Science and Engineering are located on the first and ninth floor of West Siyuan Building in Weihai campus. The usable area of the laboratories is more than 1500 square meters, and the total fixed assets are nearly 7 million yuan. Aiming at supporting undergraduate experimental teaching and improving students' innovative and practical abilities, the laboratories undertake about 50 undergraduate teaching experiments in 11 courses, including Environmental Monitoring, Environmental Analytical Chemistry, Principles of Environmental Engineering, Water Quality Engineering, Environmental Microbiology, Aquatic Biogeochemistry and Soil Science, etc. The laboratories also undertake graduation design, innovative experiments, subject competitions and other academic activities.

Laboratories for Economics and Management of Beijing Jiaotong University, Weihai are located on the sixth floor of West Siyuan Building of Weihai campus, with a usable area of more than 700 square meters, including Laboratory for Management Information Systems, Laboratory for Business Studies, Laboratory for Accounting and Finance, Room for Case Studies and Seminar Room, which are mainly for undergraduates majoring in Management Information Systems, Accounting and Finance, Business Studies on Weihai campus and provide practical platforms for over 10 experimental courses.

八、数字媒体艺术专业实验室
Laboratories for Design Interactions
As the only art programme on Weihai campus, Design Interactions is jointly conducted by the programme of Digital Media Art by School of Architecture and Art of Beijing Jiaotong University and the programme of Design Interactions by Lancaster Institute for Contemporary Arts of Lancaster University. Laboratories for Design Interactions on Weihai campus combine the characteristics of the two courses. On the basis of meeting the teaching needs of both Chinese and British sides, the laboratories provide students with a convenient practice platform as well.
Laboratories for Design Interactions consist of five specialised laboratories, which are located on the fifth floor of No. 1 Teaching Building and the fifth floor of West Siyuan Building, with more than 650 square meters of usable area. They are designed to provide spaces and equipment for the practical content of two modules, as well as for students majoring in Design Interactions to self-study and participate in projects.
数字媒体艺术专业作为威海校区目前唯一的艺术类专业,由北京交通大学建筑与艺术学院的数字媒体艺术专业与英国兰卡斯特大学当代艺术学院的交互设计专业合办。威海校区数字媒体艺术专业实验室融合了这两个专业的特色,在满足中英方教学需求的基础上,给学生提供便利的实践平台。
数字媒体艺术专业实验室共包含5个特定功能的实验室,分别位于威海校区的一号教学楼五层和思源西楼的五层,使用面积650余平方米。实验室共承担2门专业课程的实践教学内容,为数字媒体艺术专业的同学提供自主学习和参与项目的空间和设备。
