职责

Roles and Responsibilities

在学校领导下开展工作，其基本职能是：全面负责威海校区的办学活动，积极争取地方政府及社会各方面的支持，广泛争取办学资源；为学校在威海校区举办的中外合作办学机构和项目及其它学历、非学历教育教学活动提供办学条件支撑、服务保障，营造良好的校园文化氛围，负责威海校区安全稳定、日常运行和资产的日常管理，完成学校部署的其它工作。

Under the leadership of Beijing Jiaotong University, the basic responsibilities of the committee are as follows:
·To be fully responsible for the educational activities of the Weihai Campus
·To actively seek support from the local government and all sectors of society to secure educational resources
·To provide conditions and services for Sino-foreign cooperative education institutions and programs , as well as other degree and non-degree educational activities organized by BJTU at the Weihai Campus
·To promote a positive campus cultural atmosphere
·To ensure the security and stability of the Weihai Campus, and supervise its daily operation and asset management
·To perform other duties as assigned by BJTU.

职责

Roles and Responsibilities

威海校区党委受学校党委领导，在校区各项工作中发挥政治核心作用，负责威海校区的党建和思想政治工作，支持、保证并监督威海校区管理委员会履行其职责。依照相关规定成立威海校区团委、工会等群众性组织，受威海校区党委领导，同时受学校相关组织的领导。

Under the leadership of the CPC BJTU Committee, Weihai Campus Committee plays the role of the political core in all campus work. It is responsible for the following work:
· Party building, ideological and political work in Weihai Campus
· To support, ensure, and supervise the Weihai Campus Management Committee in fulfilling its responsibilities
·To set up the Youth League Committee and Trade Union of Weihai Campus in accordance with the relevant regulations, which are under the leadership of the CPC Weihai Campus Committee and also under the guidance of corresponding BJTU organizations.

在学校纪委的领导下，负责贯彻落实学校纪委、协助威海校区党委全面从严治党职责，侧重政治监督。

Under the leadership of the BJTU Discipline Inspection Commission (DIC), it is responsible for implementing the directives of BJTU DIC, and assisting the Weihai Campus Party Committee in fulfilling its duties of comprehensive and strict governance of the Party, with an emphasis on political supervision.

职责

Roles and Responsibilities

在本科生院、研究生院领导下，负责行使学校异地校区的教学管理相关职能。主要负责北京交通大学中外合作办学机构（北京交通大学兰卡斯特大学学院）和项目（北京交通大学与美国罗切斯特理工学院合作举办信息管理与信息系统专业本科教育项目）在威海校区的人才培养、科学研究等相关服务与管理工作。威海国际学院与威海校区合署办公。

Under the leadership of Undergraduate School and Graduate School of BJTU, Weihai International College exercises functions related to the teaching management at Weihai Campus. It is mainly responsible for the talent cultivation, scientific research and other related services and management of BJTU's Sino-foreign cooperative education institution (BJTU Lancaster University College) and Program (Joint Degree Program of Management Information System between BJTU and RIT) at Weihai Campus. Weihai International College is co-located with Weihai Campus.

负责大学学院人才培养等各项事务的日常管理工作。通过高质量的教学和科研合作实现致力于培养适合国际化市场需求的学生。通过加强北京交通大学与兰卡斯特大学双方教职工在教学、科研领域的交流与合作，促进双方学生跨文化的交流与沟通。通过高水平的教学和科研活动，提升双方的国际声誉。

The College is responsible for the day-to-day management of talent development. It aims to cultivate students who can meet the demands of the international market through high quality teaching and research collaboration. It promotes cross-cultural communications and exchanges by strengthening the exchange and cooperation between BJTU and LU in teaching and research. It aims to enhance the international reputation of both universities through high-level teaching and research activities.
