Library of BJTU Weihai is located in the middle of the campus, covering a building area of 18,000 square meters with four floors, the 1stto the 3rdfloors are now opened. The Library serves 112 hours per week, holds over 760,000 books, and equipped with Open-Stacks, Teaching Material Room, Study Room, Reading Area, Academic Development Zone, Seminar Spaces, Self-service Area, Café, etc.
The Library is in charge of Literature Resources purchasing, Teaching Materials supporting, Information Skills training,Campus Cultural Events hosting, etc. Interlibrary Loan, Information Consultation, Information Retrieval, Information Skills Courses, Sci-tech Novelty Research, Retrieval Certificate are served.
The Library alsoserve the local people and community.
北京交通大学威海校区图书馆坐落在校园的中部，馆舍建筑面积约为1.8万平米，共四层，现已开放一至三层。现藏书76万余册，报刊380余种，阅览座位1500余个，周开馆112小时，校园无线网络全覆盖。设有藏书区、教材阅览室、阅读区、自由学习区、学生发展社区、研讨交流区、自助服务区、休闲区（咖啡吧）等功能性区域。
图书馆负责校区图书文献资源保障、教材保障、学生信息素质培养、校园文化建设等工作，开展读书分享、文化沙龙、文化展览等特色校园文化活动。推行“自我管理、自助服务”服务理念，实行藏、借、阅、服务一体化的全开放服务模式。同时开展馆际互借、信息咨询、文献检索、文献检索课教学、文献查新、查引等信息服务工作。
配备自助借还机、自助复印打印机、电子图书借阅机、朗读亭、扫描仪、3D打印机等自助服务设备。提供笔记本电脑、平板电脑（Pad）、电子书阅读器（Kindle）、投影仪等设备的出借服务。
开展校外读者服务，传播大学文化气息，提升属地文化氛围，服务当地民众，服务社会。
