威海校区举办中秋·国庆系列庆祝活动

BJTU Weihai Faculty and Staff Celebrated Moon Festival & National Day
On September 20th, receptions were held in Weihai campus to celebrate the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day. Mr CAO Guoyong, Chairman of University Council, attended the gathering, together with ninety faculty and staff from Beijing Campus, Rochester institute of Technology (RIT) and Lancaster University (LU). He extended congratulations and gratitude to the teachers for their efforts in Weihai Campus. On the evening, a movie party was held to welcome new staff, at which the young people watched a movie The Intern , which tells a story of a seventy-year-old widower Ben, a retired executive, who applies to a senior citizen intern program in a fast-growing e-commerce fashion start-up, after a boring retirement.
金风送爽，丹桂飘香。9月20日，为迎接中秋、国庆双节，威海校区举办了系列庆祝活动。
中午12点，中外教师中秋·国庆庆祝会在学术交流中心一层多功能厅举行，学校党委书记曹国永、副校长兼威海校区党总支书记刘军、校长助理兼威海校区管委会主任徐宇工等，与90余名来自北京校区、威海校区、兰卡斯特大学和罗切斯特理工学院的教师员工欢聚一堂。
庆祝会上，曹国永书记向在座的中外教师提前致以节日的问候。他肯定了威海校区在北交大国际化办学方面所做的努力和贡献，希望大家在未来继续支持校区的建设。
中外方教师代表也表达了节日祝福和对校区的美好祝愿。他们表示，感谢交大和威海校区为他们提供了良好的工作、生活环境，他们在这里可以安心教学，收获宝贵的跨国友谊，同时祝愿校区越办越好。
新学期校区也迎来了一批新教工，当晚校区工会在思源东楼一层国际文化交流中心举办了“迎2018新教工暨庆中秋·国庆茶话会”。
威海校区副主任兼工会主席白延雷致辞，他向在座的教职工致以节日祝福，欢迎新入职的教工加入威海校区大家庭。
大家在英文原声的视听环境中品茶点、聊工作、话家常。茶话会不仅帮助新教工更快地融入校区，更拉近了彼此的心理距离，在庆佳节的浓厚氛围中感受到家一样的温暖。
